May the Fork Be with You!

by Liza Fulton on July 28, 2010

Here’s how to sign “May the Fork Be with You!”

How to sign "may the fork be with you"Put your thumb across the palm.  This symbolizes the blessing you give comes from the heart.  The four fingers are held straight, like the tines of a fork.

Next, point the four fingers toward the person you are blessing and say, “May the Fork be with you.”  The response from the recipient of the blessing will be, “and also with you.”  You have now blessed each other.

The four fingers represent the four great gifts of nature – earth, sunshine, air and water.

May your life be filled with
The bounty of the earth,
The warmth of sunshine,
The breath of life and
The clarity of pure water.

May the fork be with you ….
And also with you
